Summary: 

Caracas Construction Corp. is seeking to add a full-time Yard/Shop Assistant to assist with a variety of tasks and errands as needed. The ideal candidate will have effective communication skills, a positive attitude, good problem solving skills, and a clean driving record. This position will report to our main facility in Ludlow, Massachusetts.

Responsibilities:

• Transport parts, materials and other supplies to and from the yard/various projects.
• Assist in the garage and equipment yard with various assigned duties.
• Cleaning trucks, equipment, and garage.
• Equipment tracking.
• Assist in garage inventory tracking.
• Frequent driving within a company vehicle to meet the ongoing needs of the business.
• Other administrative duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to perform manual labor and regularly lift objects with a weight of up to 80lbs.
• Positive attitude and effective communication skills.
• Experience with a computer is a plus.
• Must possess a valid unrestricted Driver's License.

Compensation: 

• $20 per hour, or based on qualifications.
